Melbourne Central at 1:30 pm on Sunday was busy as always. After parking my bike, I started searching quality food that could soothe my angry stomach. Though the fresh-looking chicken caesar salad and fragrance coming from Japanese Noodle Bar were appetizing, I was keen to try something new and much pleased when discovering Kolkata Kati.

Indian cuisine has always been a mystery to me. I can't wait to give it a shot.

I ordered rice along with lamb curry and butter chicken curry, which was highly recommended by the server.

The smell was fascinating. The fragrance of spices goes really well with the aromatic rice, which I presumed was Basmati. Butter chicken was sweet and mildly spicy. Lamb was tender and juicy and full of flavour. I can't be certain if the flavour was how conventional curry tastes like but I loved it. I heard that Indian cuisine is known for delicious spices and I am ascertained.

I would say it is one of the best choices for food rangers here in Melbourne as well as a great place for a quick lunch/dinner.
